Waste it All!

I just want to encourage you all to waste your gifts and talents all on helping others and to bring Glory to God. You may say waste? why waste them? in this sense it means to take everything that you given and use it. When you waste something you don't hold it you let it go. Think of when you spill some milk or when you drop your soda. You wasted it, you let something go and you poured it all out. That's what you want to do with your gifts and talents. Pour it all out on God, waste it on him. Usually when you spill something you feel embarrassed for what you did and feel foolish. When you waste things on God you cannot be foolish or feel embarrassed. He is not going to be mad that you took a gift and wasted it on him. He is going to be happy that it was used on his behalf. You don't have to be worry about God being mad at you for wasting what you have. When using what we have for him we don't need to make room for negative feelings. Our fear of being embarrassed, foolish, or looking "stupid" is what makes us hesitant to not use what we have been given. If you sing, just sing! Don't let your fear stop you from wanting to sing in front of people. If its for him it doesn't matter if you look crazy.
For a personal example I play the guitar. For years I wouldn't play as I should because I was afraid of someone else hearing me. I thought that I looked foolish or that someone would think I was crazy for trying. The fact that I want to play praise and worship for God should mean that I want to waste it all on him. What I have is not for me, but to help others. People can be healed, delivered, and saved through praise and worship. There is no feeling of looking a fool when you are doing something for Christ. Even Christ dealt with people thinking he was crazy for saying that he was the only way, truth and life or that his Father sent him, but he still walked in his power and accomplished his purpose. So you do the same thing as well. No matter if someone understands you or not or why you re doing something, Do it anyway!! Do it for Jesus!
